世界读书日
敬爱的老师，亲爱的同学们
今天，我的演讲主题是：《世界读书日---让我们一起在书中畅游》 4月23日是“世界读书日”。读一本好书，可以使人心情愉悦，心灵充实，视野开阔，明辨是非，行为举止文明得体。相信大家一定听过很多名言警句：“书是人类进步的阶梯”“书山有路勤为径，学海无涯苦作舟”、“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”、“书中自有黄金屋”。这些名言警句告诉我们一个很普通但是又非常重要的道理：读书对人的成长是非常重要的。
在世界读书日到来之际，我向全校同学发出以下三点倡议： 一、爱读书。将读书变成一种伴随终身的良好习惯。建议同学们在床头上、书包里、抽屉里放2—3本你喜爱的课外书籍，随时拿来阅读。让每一天都成为“读书日”。
二、会读书。掌握正确的读书方法，以利用有限的时间和资源达到最大的学习效果。例如在看书时摘抄好词好句，看完书后和父母、朋友谈谈自己的体会。
三、读好书。有选择地读书。希望每位同学根据自己的兴趣、志向，选择你所喜爱的书籍，选择经典名著来阅读。在书海里畅游，慢慢的，你会觉得，世界如此之大，生活如此多彩，大自然如此奥妙。 同学们，积极行动起来吧，让自己养成热爱读书的好习惯，把生命中的每一天都看成是读书日。太阳每天都是新的！生活永远充满希望！书籍伴随人一生！让我们和书籍交朋友，让书香溢满我们的童年！

Good morning,everyone! The topic of my speech is‘Let’s enjoy reading on world reading day!’
The world reading day which is held on April 23th is coming.I think most of you have heard many sayings about reading. For example,‘The book is the ladder of human progress’, ‘There is no royal road to size, there is no end to learning work boat’,‘Only through reading thousands of books can one write fluently’,‘A book holds a house of gold’.These proverbs are quite famous,and they tell us a common but important truth. That is,reading is vital to our growth.It gives us pleasure ,enriches our hearts,broadens our eyesight,makes us define right from wrong and so on.
With the arrival of world reading day,I’ll give you some suggestions .First, make reading as your lifelong habit. You can put some favorite extracurricular books beside your beds so as to read them at any time. Second,master the right reading method. You can write some good words and sentences when you read.Or you can share your thought about a book with your parents and friends.Third, choose your favorite books. You can choose them according to your interests and ambition. If you keep reading for a period of time,you will find the world is so big, life is so colorful and nature is so mysterious.
