如果仔细阅读报道中的两段文字，即使不熟知 “stand-in” ，您也会在随即出现的 “substitute” 中猜出它的大致意思“替身，代替”。Stand-in(替身)源于动词词组“stand in for”(暂时代替某人)，例如：Im standing in for the regular man while hes on holiday.(那位正式职员休假了，由我暂时顶替他的职位。)
