NEVER GIVE UP
Hello, everyone. I’m glad to give you a talk. My topic is “ Never Give
Up”
I think Smiling will bring you a sunny day. “Never give up” is the way to your success.
Everyone is proud of our nation. I’m sure one of the reasons is one of her spirits------Never Give Up. Because of never giving up, we Chinese won the chance to hold the twenty-ninth Olympics. You know in 1932, Chinese first competed at the tenth Olympics. We had a dream of holding the Olympics in China. At the 1984 Olympics, Xu Haifeng shot the door of the gold medal open for our motherland. Chinese had much stronger desire to be the host of the Olympics. For many years, we kept looking forward to it. Till July 2001, we welcomed the amazing time., the twenty-ninth Olympics would be held in Beijing in China. Now the Chinese government and people are trying their best to prepare for this. Beijing will prove to be a land of wonders to the world. We’ll flourish the Olympics spirits: higher, faster and stronger. I think this is a good example of never giving up.
Can you remember the 2004 Spring Festival Evening Party? Many people were astonished at a fantastic dance named “ GuanYine with thousands of hands”. It’s really touching and fascinating. We talk about not only the dance itself but also the disabled dancers who can’t hear anything. I can’t imagine how many difficulties they had to face. But they never give up. They enjoyed the art in their own ways. They showed us the most beautiful rainbow in their minds. They’re the best because they have the top spirit in their lives.
Of course, everyone will meet many kinds of problems. Please remember “Never Give Up”. Let’s try our best to do everything for ourselves, our families and our motherland.
