Congratulations. 祝贺你;祝贺祝贺;恭喜恭喜。

Congratulations on your new job. 祝贺你有了新的工作。 Congratulations on passing the exam. 祝贺你通过了考试。 Congratulations to you all. 祝贺你们大家。 B. 对祝贺的回答 Thank you. 谢谢。二、使用指南

1. 表示祝贺时，用得最多的两个词是congratulate 和 congratulations。使用它们时应注意以下几点：

(1) congratulate 是动词，一般要以“人”作宾语，而不以“事”作宾语。若要具体表明是因为某事而祝贺某人，要用介词 on，即说成 congratulate sb on sth。

(2) congratulation 是名词，且通常用复数形式。它能够单独使用，也可在其后接介词短语来说明是因何事而祝贺(用on)或向谁祝贺(用to)。

(3) congratulate 以及 congratulations 表示祝贺时，可用于成功、获胜、结婚、毕业以及生日等场合，但一般不用于节日致词。 2. 中国人以谦虚为美德，面对祝贺时，人们往往回答说“没什么”或“哪里，哪里”。但在用英语中，人们通常用感谢来回答祝贺。如
