形容词和比较级、最高级

一、形容词：(....的) 用来修饰名词

形容词后缀有：-ful, -ious, -able, -ant, -ary, -ed, -en等 1. as....as.... 和....一样 eg. He is as tall as I (me).

not as/so ....as.... 和....不一样 eg.He is not as/so tall as I.

中间用形容词或副词的原级 2. the+形容词 （表示一类人或物，谓语动词用复数形式）eg. the old/young 二、形容词比较级、最高级： 一般：

情 况 变 化 形 式 举 例

small - smaller - smallest 一般情况 在词尾直接加-er ; -est

large - larger - largest 以e结尾的词 在词尾加 –r ; - st ;

happy- happier- happiest 以辅音字母+y结尾 变y为i，加- er; -est

fat – fatter – fattest

以一个元音字母加一个

将该辅音字母双写，再加 thin – thinner – thinnest

辅音字母结尾，而且是

-er ; -est big – bigger – biggest

重读闭音节

hot – hotter - hottest

特殊变化：

good, well – better – best bad, ill – worse – worst

many, much – more – most little – less – least

far – farther/further – farthest/furthest 1.、比较级+than
